The movie is directed by Stefano Sollima, who previously worked with Sheridan’s script on Sicario: Day of the Soldado. Without Remorse is written by Taylor Sheridan, who also wrote movies like Hell or Highwater, both Sicario movies, and the TV series Yellowstone. In Tom Clancy’s lore, John Kelly eventually changes his name to John Clark and goes on to become the leader of Rainbow Six, the famous international counter-terrorism unit and the namesake of Ubisoft’s tactical shooter franchise.
